FireStar Ranch is owned and operated by Chris & Erin Schreiber.  Relocated from Southern California, we’re now located in the unincorporated community of Sagle, within Bonner County, Idaho.  Bonner County is located in the northern panhandle of Idaho and we are roughly 70 miles south of the Canada/US Border. 

Our ranch is just in from the shores of Lake Pend Oreille. Lake Pend Oreille is one of the largest (with more than 100 miles of shoreline) and deepest lakes (reaching over 1,000 feet in depth) in the United States, but much of the surrounding land is under the protection of State and Federal agencies.  In fact, more than 70% of the Panhandle is under government ownership.
